During the planting season, you can also find compost, worms, and a marvelous selection of bedding plants. Please refer to the crop calendar for more details.

Two options to get cash:

  1. There are 2 ATM’s at the Market. There is an  ATM just outside the double doors on the west side of the Farmers’ Market Building. There is also an ATM located in the South side of the Market Pavilion.
  2. On Market Days, the Information Booth is also set up to serve SNAP/EBT (food stamp) customers, and, if you wish, you can also use your debit or credit card and receive genuine Market wooden tokens to spend with the vendors (same as cash).  Tokens also make great gifts!

YES!

The market is a private organization in which vendors can decline being photographed or videoed. If you are filming for commercial use, you must notify the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market’s Market Manager and sign a location release form before filming. Please be considerate and follow these basic rules if you are taking pictures or filming for personal use.

• DO ask the vendor if it’s OK to take pictures, especially if you’re taking pictures of the vendor or people at his booth. Most of the time, it’s just fine, but not everyone likes having their picture taken.
• DON’T re-arrange produce. Farmers take a lot of pride in how they display their wares. Be respectful.
• DON’T let your picture-taking get in the way of vendors’ commerce.
• DO tag the market and the farmer (some farmers are very social-media savvy) and use the #santafefarmersmarket hashtag when you post your gorgeous pictures on Instagram!

Our vendors may only sell agricultural products they grew themselves in our 15 county region, or crafts and processed items they have made with agricultural products from the area. So everything is “from here”!

See our event calendar. Fun and informative seasonal and special Market events take place at the Santa Fe Farmers Market throughout the year. Additionally, the Market Pavilion is a preferred venue for many Santa Fe conferences and trade shows.

The Santa Fe Farmers’ Market is committed to making our facilities accessible to people with disabilities. The Market Pavilion has accessible restrooms, accessible parking spaces and an elevator to access to our upstairs offices.

The Railyard Artisan Market is open every Sunday, 10am-3pm in the Farmers’ Market Pavilion. For more info, visit the Railyard Artisan Market website.

Cafe Fresh and the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Shops are located in the Farmers’ Market Building, in between Second Street Brewery and the Farmers’ Market Pavilion, at 1607 Paseo de Peralta.

The Santa Fe Farmers’ Market and Institute are always looking for volunteers. Please contact us here.

The Market Pavilion is an ideal location for conferences, trade shows, off-site meetings, film locations, concerts, fund raisers and celebrations of all kinds including Santa Fe weddings. Contact the Pavilion manager at info@farmersmarketinstitute.org for date availability and rate and services information.

The Market is not exclusively organic, but many of our growers are Certified Organic, or Certified Naturally Grown, and they post their Certificates or Crop Lists. You can ask the farmers how they raise their crops.

In addition, many vendors at the Market offer CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture programs). Please explore our vendor links to find out what kind of CSA programs farmers are offering each season.

With the exception of service dogs, dogs are not allowed inside the Market vending area due to New Mexico Environment Department regulations.

We love supporting bi-partisan, non-profits during market events. However, we do require prior approval. Please contact the office for more information.

We have strict rules to protect the quality and character of the Market, as well as an application process. If you are interested in becoming a vendor at the Santa Fe Farmers Market, please read the Rules and Regulations in the Vendors area of the web site. If you qualify, send in an application (also available at the Vendor Resources area) and we will be in touch.

Note: There is currently a moratorium on new vendors that sell primarily processed foods, nursery, herbal, or craft items. However, the Santa Fe Farmers Market always welcomes and encourages new vendors of minimally processed food (produce, dairy, meats, honey), so if your product fits that description, please contact us any time of the year!

The Railyard Artisan Market includes local artists, craftspeople, farmers, and food artisans from New Mexico. Artisan vendor applications may be downloaded at by clicking here.

If you would like your contribution to go towards SFFM Institute programs, you may make a donation to the Santa Fe Farmers Market Institute. If you would like to contribute to the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market day-to-day operations, please support our online store or our Mercado and Cafe at the Market.

All communications should be directed through the office contact information. We look forward to hearing from you!

We would love to have you! The Farmers Market books musicians in advance, usually by a month or two. If you’re interested in playing, please email the Market Manager.

Musicians must:

  • play without amps or electric instruments — we’re strictly unplugged.
  • have a busker’s license from the City of Santa Fe
  • play for the majority of the markets open hours — 8am-1pm in the winter, 7am-1pm in the summer

It must be a good one! Please get in touch and let us know what we’re missing.
