Gift of Stock

Although most gifts come in the form of cash, many donors are increasingly turning to the stock market to fund their charitable donations. There are two ways to do this: to sell the stock and give the after-tax proceeds to the Institute or to contribute the stock directly to the Institute’s account. The second method results in far greater tax savings and a larger gift to the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Institute Roots in the Railyard Campaign.
