Market to Menu

Many restaurants in the Santa Fe area choose to incorporate locally grown ingredients into their menus. Their customers appreciate seeing the name of the New Mexico farmer or rancher, knowing the people preparing the meal have a personal relationship with those growing the food.

Members of the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market offer a wide variety of products to restaurants buying in bulk. Just some of the seasonally available products are: potatoes, onions, beets, carrots, tomatoes, squash, apples, peaches, plums, herbs, sprouts, greens, cheeses, yogurt, eggs, beef, lamb, buffalo, yak, chicken.  The best way to start a farmer/chef relationship is to take a trip to the Farmers’ Market, see what your local farmers and ranchers have to offer, and start sampling!  Then, discuss with your farmer the details of your order. Please support our small farming economy by always paying your farmer or rancher within 30 days of receiving your order.
